A brief history
The Benjy’s distillery was established in 2019 by Aleksi Morchiladze in the village of Tsilkani in the region of Mtskheta. It makes 200,000 bottles of chacha, brandy, and liqueurs, using Rkatsiteli and Saperavi varieties. “Distilling is part Georgian family life for generations. I started distilling brandy as a hobby, combining traditional methods with new technology and Benjys became a company around four years ago,” says Aleks.
