Georgian Wine House
A brief history
Georgian Wine House was established in 2000 in Gori in the region of Kartli. The owners are Vasil Dvali, Zaza Kikabidze, Dmitri Alexandrov and Sergey Sumarokov. The winemaker, Valerian Vardosanidze, makes 6 million bottles of amber, dry and sweet red, dry and sweet white, dry rosé, sparkling wine, brandy and chacha in steel and tanks and qvevri, using Saperavi, Tavakveri, Goruli Mtsvane, Rkatsiteli, Tsinandali, Tsitska-Tsolikouri, Krakhuna, Mtsvane, Pino, Kakhuri Mtsvane, Kisi, Alexandrouli, and Mujuretuli varieties.The winery has over 50 labels, the most important being the Alexandrov Wine Collection, Gourmet, Sagvine, Kiazo Wine Collection, Tbilisoba, Dardimandi, Kakhetian Cellars, Gremiseuli, Alaznis Vazi, Salkheni, Georgian Princess, Chateau Aznauri, Kakhuri Qvevri, Tbilisuri, Grand Marani, Rachuli Marani, Old Georgia, and Chateau Liza.
