Kankatela

The Kankatela winery, which is part of the Shatro Valley Company, was established in 2017, to promote wines from Racha-Lechkhumi region. The winery is located in the village of Sadmeli, part of Khvanchkara district, which covers several villages on the Rioni river in the Racha-Lechkhumi region of West Georgia.The winery makes 70,000 bottles of dry and sweet red and white wine, made using “classical” methods, using Aleksandrouli, Ojaleshi, Tvishi, Tsolikauri and Mujuretuli varieties. The winery is owned by severla partners. They are George Mshvidobadze, Dato Chikovani, Vladimir Dzneladze, Gocha Enukidze, Rostom Kobakhidze.
