Madam Wine

Madam Wine was founded in 2016 in Telavi in the region of Kakheti. Owner and winemaker Manana Akhvlediani, makes 2,000 bottles of dry, semi-dry and semi-sweet red, dry white and semi-dry rosé in steel tanks using Ssaperavi, Syrah, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon, Orbeluri Ojaleshi, and Rkatsiteli. The names of the five wines - Housewife, Lovely woman, Kakhuri, Coquette and Rosé Savardo – are designed to cater to women drinkers. “These are mood wines,” says Manana. “They are wines made by Georgian women for women all over the world.”
