Tedo's Marani
A brief history
Tedo’s Marani was established in 2015 by Tedo Gzirishvili in Sagarejo in Georgia’s Kakheti region on the banks of the Iori River overlooking the fertile Alazani River Valley and the Caucasus Mountains. The winery makes 6,500 bottles of certified organic amber, red, rosé and sparkling wine in qvervi and steel tanks, using its own Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane, Saperavi, Buera and Budeshuri Tsiteli varieties to make six different wines. The winery prides itself on being innovative both in its natural winemaking with its Buera and Tavkveri-Buera wines and its labels which capture the winery’s energy, spirit and sense of humour.
