Winemaking

Traditional Kartlian qvevri wine, aged for 6 months on chacha. The leading variety of white wine grapes in Kartli, widespread throughout the region (Kvemo Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Shida Kartli). Traditionally, it is used to make very airy, exquisite white wines, although this variety is often fully aged on chacha. In some parts of Kartli, it is pressed together with Goruli Mtsvane or Tavkveri. This is also one of the best varieties for sparkling wine. Chinuri is the main component of the Atenuri wine produced in the area of the same name. Best places - Ateni, Okami, Lamiskana, Bitsmendi, Jigaura, Tezi, Mejvriskhevi, Khidistavi, Dzalisi.

Appearance

Lemon- and straw-colored

Food Pairing

Our Chinuri, aged for 6 months on chacha, is a light wine, so it goes best with boiled fish and light salads.
