Winemaking

Traditional Georgian qvevri wine Leading variety of red wine grapes in Kartli, widespread throughout the region (Kvemo Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, Shida Kartli). It is used to produce relatively light, very tasty red wines with an unforgettable flavor. Kartlians often press this variety together with Chinuri and Goruli Mtsvane. It is also used to make sparkling rosé wine. Best places – Mukhraani, Khidistavi, Ateni.
