A brief history
BIOMARANI is a small artisan family winery and vineyard from Georgia. We produce the highest quality organic qvevri wine – without any additives, herbicides or pesticides. Our story goes beyond the wine, as our goal is to connect our family, friends and wine enthusiasts to our Georgian roots and heritage for generations to come.
We are located in the village of Gulgula – alongside Alazani Valley in Kakheti, Georgia. Gulgula belongs to the Tsinandali microzone, which is a Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) within the Georgian wine industry. We often say that we are in the heart of Kakheti, Georgia – and we really mean it. The winery and vineyard is located 2 hours from Tbilisi and only 15 minutes away from Telavi.
