Chateau Ateni
A brief history
Chateau Ateni was established in 2016 by Zaur Vanishvili in the village of Ateni in the district of Gori in the region of Kartli. Winemaker Ioseb Vanishvili makes 5,000 bottles of certified-organic amber, red, white, rosé and sparkling wines in the “classic” method using the winery’s own Goruli Mtsvane, Tetri Budeshuri, Chinuri, Tavkveri and Buza varieties. The winery has plans to expand its sparkling wine production and build a hotel.
