Telavi Old Cellar
A brief history
Telavi Old Cellar was established in 2011 by owner/winemaker Archil Utiashvili in the village of Kurdgelauri in the district of Telavi, which is part of the Kakheti region. The winery makes 5,000-7,000 bottles of organic amber and red wines in qvevri using Rkatsiteli, Kakhuri Mtsvane, Kisi, Saperavi, and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties under the Archil’s label. Since 2019, Telavi Old Cellar has been exporting to the UK where it is represented by GinVino.
