Tiflis Wine Cellar
A brief history
Tiflis Wine Cellar winery was founded in 1995 near Tbilisi - perfect location for wine processing and logistics - residing not far from fertility region of Kakheti. Up to date its one the biggest wineries in Georgia.
The famous Georgian winemaker Nikolai Mechuzla took a great part in the winery foundation. He’s a professor, corresponding member of Agrar Academy of science in Georgia, academic of international Academy of grapes and wine, author more than 130 science articles, brochures and books. His experience and weighted combination of uses traditional methods of grape-growing and harvesting with uses modern technology and high-quality Italian, French and Germany equipment give possibility to create high level wine saving terroirs and historical specialties of Georgian wine.
