A brief history
Wine Artisans was established in 2013 in the village of Tsedisi in the Gori district of the Kartli region. Owner/winemaker Andro Barnovi makes 5,000 bottles of organic amber, orange, red, white and rosé wines in qvevri using their own Chinuri, Goruli Mstvane, Chkapa, Rkatsiteli, Kakhuri Mtsvane, Tavkveri, and Shavkapito varieties, planted in Tvishi, Khashmi, and the Trialeti Valley.

Rkatsiteli Uroebi 2017 is one of the most flawless wines ever produced in the cellar. It comes from the outstanding Uroebi terroir of Bakurtsikhe and was macerated the way to replicate ancient wine-making techniques. This wine has strong honey and beeswax aromas mixed with herbal tones pertaining to the terroir. It has relatively low acidity and a full body with pleasant tannins. Spontaneous fermentation, no filtering, no chemicals - this is all true about UROEBI 2017. It is a particularly pleasant wine - the one you won't forget for long.
