Growing Conditions

Red dry wine Origin and Grape Variety: Produced from Saperavi, Georgia’s most renowned and widely cultivated red grape variety, grown in the Kakheti region. Harvest

Selective hand-picking of fully ripe, healthy grape bunches, during full physiological ripening, typically from late September to early October.

Bottling

The wine is cold stabilized, filtered, and then bottled using the gravitational bottling method. The closure is natural cork.

Winemaking

The whole grapes are gently crushed, and the juice undergoes fermentation with skin contact to extract rich color, tannins, and flavors. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature followed by maceration for added complexity.

Appearance

Saperavi has a deep, dark ruby red color, almost opaque, with a rich and vibrant appearance.

Food Pairing

Saperavi pairs excellently with hearty dishes such as grilled meats, barbecued beef, lamb, and roasted pork. It can be enjoyed with Georgian stews like chakapuli or kharcho.
