Nose
Wine preserves the varietal aroma, expressed by the scent of green apple and peach.
Palate
The typical acidity is well combined with a velvety, naturally sweet taste.
Growing Conditions
Produced in West Georgia, Imereti, Lechkhumi region, from specially selected Tsolikauri grapes of the Tvishi microzone.
Harvest
Selective hand-picking of only healthy grape bunches, during the physiological ripening of the grapes, from late September to early October.
Bottling
The wine is cold stabilized, filtered, and then bottled using the gravitational bottling method. The closure is natural cork.
Winemaking
The whole grapes are crushed as gently as possible, after which the self-flowing fraction of sweet juice is separated. This fraction is used to produce Tvishi wine. After processing and cleaning the sweet fraction, alcoholic fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature.
Aging
The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks or glass containers to preserve its fresh, fruity character. No oak aging is used, allowing the wine to retain its light and aromatic qualities.
Appearance
Tvishi wine has a pale, straw-yellow color with a slight greenish tint and a bright, fresh appearance.
Food Pairing
Ideal with grilled vegetables and meat, as well as with desserts and fruits.
