Nose
A harmonious mix of apple, peach, honey, and field flowers.
Palate
A full bodied wine with rich but soft tannins, ripe apples, peaches, dried fruit and tobacco. It has balanced acidity and a long, luxurious finish.
Growing Conditions
The vineyard is located 510 meters above sea level in the village of Kurdghelauri, Tsinandali micro-zone which is considered to be an exceptional location for vineyards. Grapes cultivated in this area have unique taste properties, giving wines distinguished character and finesse. The area of the vineyard covers 0.84 hectares and most of it is clay soil. To ensure the high quality of the wine, Archils Winery pays special attention to the agro-technological work and quality control of grapes. To improve wine quality even more, the winery limits the amount of harvest, implementing a “green harvest” approach and using only biologically and ecologically clean means. Only organic fertilisers are used.
Harvest
Grapes are hand harvested in an old family vineyard located in Tsinandali micro-zone. Harvest for this wine was concluded by the end of September 2018.
Bottling
The wine is aged for 2 years before bottling.
Winemaking
The wine is produced by winemaker and viticulturist, Archil Utiashvili. using premium quality, biologically and ecologically clean Rkatsiteli grapes. Archil applies modern and ancient Georgian traditional wine making techniques that take into account the peculiarities of the grape variety. This includes using all the grape’s stalk and marc in alcoholic fermentation. All wines are handmade, 100% natural and limited in quantity.
Aging
After fermentation, the wine is aged in oak for 3 months.
Appearance
Amber colour with tones of sun rays.

Ideally matches fish, roast meat and cheese.
