Winemaking

Georgian Chinuri wine undergoes traditional kvevri vinification, a process where grapes are crushed and then fermented with their skins, seeds, and stems in large earthenware vessels buried underground. This method allows for extended skin contact, resulting in rich color, complex flavors, and textured tannins. After fermentation, the wine is left to age in the kvevri for several months or even years, allowing it to develop its characteristic profile. Minimal intervention is favored, letting nature guide the transformation. Fermentation: 14 Days
