A brief history

Vartsikhe Marani was established by David Tsertsvadze in 2015 in the village of Vartsikhe in the Baghdati district of the Imereti region. The winery, which also owns vineyards in the Kakheti region, makes 40,000 bottles of seven different organic amber, red and white qvervri wine using Tsitska, Tsolikouri, Krakhuna, Rkatsiteli, Saperavi, Aladasturi, Ojaleshi, Dzelshavi, Otskhanuri Sapere and Aleksandrouli varieties. Vartsikhe Marani is seeking representation in the former Soviet republics, Europe, the USA, and Japan.
