Nose
Saperavi wine boasts a delicious aromas of fresh grapes, cherry and vanilla. It is perfectly combined with the notes of oak and sweet mulberry characters.
Palate
Velvety with low acidity. Favours of cherry, blackberries, dark plum, sweet mulberry and integrated oak shine through.
Growing Conditions
Grapes are grown in the Appellation Origin Controlled micro-zone of Tsinandali, Kakheti region, eastern Georgia. The soil type is Alluvial, alluvial-Diluvial, brown soil.
Bottling
The wine is filtered in a tangential filter before bottling.
Winemaking
Carefully selected Saperavi grapes (partly from own vineyards) are fermented in stainless steel tanks on a controlled temperature of 23-25 C degrees.
Aging
Depending on the vintage, Saperavi has a great potential of ageing for up to 8 year
Appearance
Deep garnet colour.
Food Pairing
Goes well with kebab, steak, and pork ribs.
