Growing Conditions

Grapes are grown in the Appellation Origin Controlled micro-zone of Tsinandali, Kakheti region, eastern Georgia. The soil type is Alluvial, alluvial-Diluvial, brown soil.

After monitoring the ripeness of Rkatsiteli (Tsinandali AOC zone) and Mtsvane grapes, they are hand picked then transferred to the winery for processing. Fermentation takes place in tank at 14-16 degrees. The wines are then filtered and bottled. Tbilvino's Chief winemakers are Zviad Loladze and Luka Guruli.

It is best to consume Tsinandali wine young but it has an ageing potential of 3-4 years.

Clear and bright with a pale straw colour.

Food Pairing

Tsinandali goes well with salads, grilled vegetables, chicken with citrus dressing, and fish.
