Nose

The taste of the wine is dominated by complex red forest berries, where the dominant tones of blackberry are complemented by gentle vanilla and clove tones.

Palate

It has a pleasant and full taste that lingers on the tongue for several hours.

Growing Conditions

The wine Saperavi Premium is made by the grapes from the best and old vineyards of specific viniculture microzone of Kvareli, Kelibardebi. The vineyards are especially rich with black slates, which determine the uniqueness of the wine. The wooded mountains and the hot cliffs of Kvareli, which surround the mentioned vineyards, create a special and unique microclimate, and all this is a pre-condition for obtaining the highest quality of wine.

Harvest

Selective hand picking (only healthy fruits), during the physiological ripening of the grapes, from the end of September to the beginning of October.

Bottling

The wine is cold stabilized, filtered then bottled by the gravitational bottling method and the closure is Diam cork.

Winemaking

Classic Durdo fermentation for 3 weeks, removal from Durdo and aging in 225-liter barrels for 12 to 18 months.

Aging

Aging in 225-liter barrels for 12 to 18 months.

Appearance

Dark cherry color.

Food Pairing

Served at 16-18°C. Well paired with grilled red meat dishes, lamb dishes and farmed cheese.
